Turnaround Design, LLC is a one-woman design boutique owned and operated by Shannon Whealy.
Founded in 1996, the name “Turnaround” comes from the fast-paced printing world Shannon worked in after college, where she was recognized for her quick turnaround on projects.
Over the years at Turnaround Design, Shannon has worked with all types of small businesses, designing scores of logos, websites, packaging, trade show graphics, digital marketing and print collateral.
Today, she partners with entrepreneurs and other creatives to create brand identities and marketing designs.
About Shannon Whealy
Hey there! I’m Shannon, graphic designer, entrepreneur and wearer of many hats in both my business and life.
After nearly 20 years in business, what I’ve learned – from both my clients and my own experience – is that continually up-leveling and expanding your brand’s visual presence has a become a necessity in the global marketplace.
I’ve also learned that you can’t do everything yourself as a business owner, and that when you find the right pros to hire, it’s a sweet relief!
Why hire me?
I’m a listener and an observer first, learning everything about your business and where you want to take it. Then I translate that information into visuals that communicate your brand’s message clearly – and instill credibility, confidence and memorability in your audience.
Note: I’m currently not scheduling any new projects for 2016.
A few more tidbits
Outside of my design business, I’m dedicated to my family – my marathoner husband and two active sons – one who is competitive like his dad and one who is creative like me.
Our house is patrolled by Annie and Baxter, two small dogs (a Jack Russell mix and dachshund) who have us wrapped around their furry paws.
We live just outside Minneapolis, Minnesota, where I am inspired by nature and the changing seasons. We are happiest at our lake cabin “up north” and during summer road trips across the U.S. visiting National Parks.
I’m a longtime runner and recently certified yoga teacher. I’m passionate about eating plants, essential oils and how wellness influences our creativity.
I share more about what’s inspiring me, provide creativity and design tips and give away fun freebies over on my design blog.
